Fecon FTX 128L Reinforcement and Rebuild Kits for Undercarriage and Mulching Head

These kits will help reinforce your Fecon FTX 128L undercarriage and mulching head. Both kits use 3/8” AR400 (Abrasion Resistant) plate on all the wear surfaces. Grade 50 structural 3/8” is used for strength where it will not make contact. All pieces are cut on a CNC plasma for accurate fit and repeatability.

Undercarriage Kit:
Includes all the pieces to reinforce the front idler wheel and track frame, while providing necessary rock and debris protection for the tracks. Track derailment is greatly reduced by the track frame bridges spanning the track chain. The rock guards have a 10* tilt built into the design to allow track flotation and articulation without prematurely wearing the guards. The track frame bridges and lower wear plates will be shipped jig welded with FCAW-G (Dual Shield) wire welding. This is a high deposition and penetration welding method for strength and low hydrogen input to avoid cracking.

Mulching Head Rebuild:
This kit includes everything to rebuild the housings and implement system of 3/8” AR400 wear plates. The plates are spaced apart to allow debris to fill the gaps, slowing the wear rate on the plates. The plates are overhung over the housing to allow for an easy visual wear check. They are easily replaced by cutting the old pads off and welding in new. Smooth pad kits are available (no gap between welded pads).

Door Reinforcement Kit:
This kit includes pieces to reinforce the doors of the mulching head to remove the internal door stops inside the housing. The door stops are prone to breaking off and wreaking havoc on the hydraulic motor drive components (belt and pulleys). These pieces are cut from 3/8” AR400.

Wear Pad Kit (Mulching Head):
This kit includes a set of replacement pads for the mulching head rebuild kit. They are constructed of 3/8” AR400. Other thicknesses are available.

Includes Undercarriage Kit, Mulching Head Rebuild, and Door Reinforcement Kit

All kits ship free in the contiguous United States! They will ship FedEx freight. Please select for residential and/or liftgate service. The Combo Kit weighs about 1400#.

Installation will require fabrication and welding. This installation must be completed by a qualified individual with the proper knowledge to attach structural pieces to forestry equipment.
